Meadow mouse also known as Meadow vole (Microtus pennsylvanicus)

The meadow mouse is active year-round, usually at night. Meadow voles are most commonly found in grasslands, preferring moister areas, but are also found in wooded areas. It also digs underground burrows, where it stores food for the winter and females give birth to their young.
